Alice In Wonderland premiered in London last night in front of Prince Charles.

Alice is another Tim Burton / Johnny Depp movie. They’re are a great combination. But I’ll probably not go to the cinema to watch it.

A nice coincidence, Avril has the title track. Life down the rabbit hole would be cool enough if Avril was there with an off-the-shoulder Goth look…

I have a new market writing about Space.

Univerese Today is a blog that covers space exploration and astronomy. The offer came out of work I was doing last year on Tomorrow is Here. Fraser Cain, who runs Universe Today, also runs the carnival of space, which often featured articles from Tomorrow is Here.

a new world and new civilization?

a new world and new civilization?

Perhaps this could lead to something bigger. I noticed that the coverage of the LCROSS Moon impact in the Daily Star was inacurate.

The article says that debris were “brought back to the Earth for analysis.” I am pretty sure this isn’t true. Both probes impacted the Moon. There was nothing to come back to Earth.

I am out this Saturday for Halloween.

Last year was interesting. Hopefully this year will be as much fun.

I thought I would select a suitably spooky track. I’d forgotten this song existed until I saw Donnie Darko. A classic from the 80s with hair styles to match. It takes me back to my college days.

The line “Fate, up against your will” has been the theme of my adult life. But, I’ve survived the horror show. I am living the life I choose to live. I am happy doing so.

Screw fate!

Racism in among future kings can only lead to no good

Last week the News of the World published a video diary in which Prince Harry, the third in line to the throne, calls one of his then Sandhurst colleagues a “Paki”. I thought I would add my reaction to the prince’s racist term.

Here’s Adamski & Seal with “Killer”. This song takes me back to some very strange days in 80′s London. Get you Rubik’s cubes out.

Just after I went to bed last night I heard a strange sound. It was as if someone was pounding a spoon on an upturned saucepan, but softer. More like a tap dripping loudly onto a saucepan in a sink.

The problem with these theories is that I do not have any saucepans. No room for a hob in my tiny kitchen. The sound lasted no more than 15 seconds before fading away.

I had a quick look around the flat, which does not take too long in a one-bedroom flat. There was nothing obvious that could’ve made the noise. So I thought no more of it. Living in a block of flats you get used to hearing strange sounds from your neighbours. Late at night it is easy to mistake the sounds as coming from within your own home.

Trying to get to bottom of late night conversations.

I posted a message on Bev’s wall to ask what she had been talking about. She replied, “haha I have no idea???? lol.”

Great

I really must stop having late night conversations with drunken people. I posted a comment saying as much to Bev. She deleted that comment and the original one.

So nothing more is going to come from that line of inquiry.

I was in the Red Lion with Gaz Franks last night to watch Cold Jam.

They were pretty good. As I was leaving the Red Lion last night (1am this morning in fact), Bev Glanfield yells to me, “Tim, we tried!”. She repeated it, so I assume it must have been fairly important.

I have not got the vaguest idea what she was talking about. But I was on my way home and had had a few drinks so I thought I would leave it. This kind of thing happens way too often to me. Although not as often as it used to. Just once I wish I knew what was going on in my life.

I have left a message for her on facebook.
